fondant colours (we used a black and a brown)
sugar shaker or cloth with icing sugar/corn starch
Debosser of choice
knead fondant till playable, add a line of each colour to each end of the fondant.
Fold the fondant back in the same direction as the lines, cut in 1/2 then place the fondant opposite way over the first piece of fondant, repeat a few times.
Then roll into a log, cut in to smaller pieces, turn the cut edge to the top, stick each section back together with a small amount of water. Remember fondant should be sticky not wet !.
Once all joined together roll fondant out to desired thickness make sure you use the icing sugar/corn starch on the bench and the top of your fondant so it doesn’t stick to the bench or rolling pin.
Every few rolls of the rolling pin, make sure you lift the fondant of the bench, as it’s very easy to glue the fondant to the bench 🤣 we have all done it 😝.
Check both sides of the fondant as you might like the under side of the fondant more than the top, as the marbling effect is very random which makes it so exciting.
